Subject Matter is thrilled to collaborate with the 2027 Tribeca Festival to sell exclusive Patron Passes (previously known as Z Passes) to their festival as a fundraiser for our work! The 2027 Tribeca Festival will take place June 3rd - 12th.

We’ll be at the Festival to award a grant to a film in the Tribeca documentary program that shines a light on an urgent social issue, along with a grant to a nonprofit that is working on the featured topic. We hope you’ll catch us at one of the screenings as we rally audiences to join us in supporting the nonprofit to create a positive community action in response to the film.

Tribeca Festival Patron Passes

Previously known as the Z Pass. 

For the one who loves first-class Festival treatment — and to support a good cause. 

This tax-deductible pass offers concierge service, unlimited priority access to screenings, entry to special events, and more. Plus, every Patron Pass purchased directly supports Subject Matter, a nonprofit that provides funds and resources to documentary films highlighting urgent social issues. 

Includes:

  • Priority entry and reserved seating to all public screenings and events

    • Films, TV, Podcasts, Talks, and Games

    • Events hosted at special venues (e.g. Beacon Theatre)

  • A ticket to attend Opening Night Premiere and reception, RSVP required (Diamond and Platinum Patron Passes only; Gold Patron Passes do not include Opening Night) 

  • A ticket to attend Closing Night Premiere, RSVP required

  • Lounge access at Spring Studios

  • A 2027 Tribeca merch item and a Tribeca Passport

DIAMOND PACKAGE FOR TWO: $25,000

Two Platinum Passes to the 2027 Tribeca Festival, plus:

  • Special access for two to year-round Tribeca Membership events such as: film premieres, panel discussions, and more.

  • Dinner for two at Locanda Verde or Nobu at Passholder’s request (excludes alcohol, tax, and gratuity.)

  • One movie poster signed by Robert De Niro at Passholder’s request

  • One-time use of the private screening room at Tribeca Festival’s HQ. Tribeca programmers will help curate an unforgettable night at the movies.

    • Date subject to availability; Event will last up to 3 hours; Event capacity of 75 guests; Benefit must be used by the end of the 2027

  • $13,000 of each Diamond Package is a tax-deductible donation to Subject Matter.

PLATINUM PASS FOR ONE:
$7,500

Premium access for one (1) which includes all standard benefits, plus:

  • Opening Night Festivities: Premium seating at the Opening Night screening & access to the invite-only afterparty

  • Premium Seating at all screenings including Beacon Theatre Events, BMCC Premieres & the Closing Night film screening

  • $4,000 of each Platinum Package is a tax-deductible donation to Subject Matter.

GOLD PACKAGE FOR ONE: $5,000

Preferred access for one (1) which includes all standard benefits, plus:

  • Closing Night Festivities: Preferred seating at the Closing Night screening*

*Please note the Gold package does not include Opening Night festivities

  • Preferred Seating at all screenings including Beacon Theatre Events and BMCC Premieres

  • $2,500 of each Gold Package is a tax-deductible donation to Subject Matter.
